Oh, shit. "Damn, you're right– my bad. Um, thank you again. Have a good night." I didn't give him a chance to say anything else. I was embarrassed enough. I quickly strolled up the driveway, stopping at the side of the porch to grab the spare key from the rock-looking hiding place. I didn't even turn around to wave once the door was open, just closed it behind me and fell back against it.
A person is never more of themselves than when they're with their siblings. There was no reason to put on for your family. And I liked what I saw. His girlfriend was lucky.
