Once you accept it, no one can disappoint you. Why set standads and expectations when you know you'll be let down? You may call it a lonely road but I just call it survival. There's been no one worth getting my hopes and dreams up for. Save yourself before you drown in the sea of co-dependency and anchor yourself in your independence
