They should be teaching basic
survival skills in schools.
No, they shouldn't. The purpose of school is not to raise your children for you. School is meant to teach things that generally can't be taught at home. The majority of parents can't teach algebra. They can't teach critical thinking around literature. They can't teach the depth of music or artistic styles and history. Hell, too many parents don't bother teaching their kids how to read. Take responsibility for basic life skills. Actually parent your children instead of complaining that no one else is doing it for you.
