Passion can exist, even passionate friendship, without even this slightest hint of romance.” “It does seem like that’s what’s happening, doesn’t it?” I offer, a little shocked by this astute observation. “It’s almost like characters who are aromantic or asexual are perfectly capable of having fulfilling adventures without romance or sex, regardless of the setting! And that should be respected!”
