All people are addicts, and all addicts desire the same thing: an escape from reality. My job just happens to be my favorite drug.

There are some people in my life I shouldn’t have walked away from: I should have run.

The only expectations you still struggle to live up to are your own.

That’s the thing Robin has learned about life now that she is older: the world keeps turning, and the years go by, regardless of how much she wishes she could turn back time. She wonders about that a lot: why people only learn to live in the moment when the moment has passed.

Enjoy the stories of other people’s lives, but don’t forget to live your own.

Sometimes I think our dog is cleverer than we know. But then I remember all the times I have seen him running in circles chasing his own tail, and realize he’s just as bemused by life as the rest of us.

There was a linen cushion inside. It had my name stitched on it along with the following words beneath: SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD, SO SHE DID.

Moët & Chandon on Avenue de Champagne—which I’m quite convinced is the best address I’ve ever heard—and I can see why she likes living here more than London or Dublin.

Ive actually been here and i am going back the Spring of 2026 to visit a number of French villages!

I feel like we are in Disneyland for wine lovers. The main avenue is a cobblestoned wonderland for anyone who enjoys a glass of fizz. Elegant châteaus line the street on either side, each owned by the world’s oldest and best-known winemakers. The town itself is filled with award-winning restaurants and cute little bars, all serving champagne as if it were lemonade.

Your focus determines your future.

I care more about liking myself than being liked by others these days, and I don’t waste my time on fake friends anymore.
