The Break

But aren’t we all vulnerable to a mental break? We’re all walking around with these big brains that can misfire and split and repress and obsess or hurtle into insanity at any second.

How much of where we are determines who we are?

These moments are the most painful part of her illness—when she knows what’s happening to her mind, when she’s clear enough to understand how often she’s not.

I remember seeing my sister go through this in her early dementia.

Maybe it’s the whole point of being here on this planet; to be close to each other and love each other.

THIS! There are so many lonely people. I do believe we are here to help each other, to share the love of God.
