“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life” (v. 6 NLT). Nothing will ever separate us from the love God has for us (Romans 8:38–39). We can ignore it, and we can pretend it’s not real. But God’s love for us and His calling on our lives will still be there, no matter how far or fast we might try to run away. Sure, you can keep saying no, and you can keep running. But God’s call will always be there for you to face. The purpose He has for you—that He chose for you before the foundation of the world—does not just go away. Follow God wherever He leads you.
