“Whether you want it or not doesn’t matter. You have it. And you have a responsibility to use it wisely.”
“You said I’m not a prisoner.” “You’re not. But you’re mine.”
“Oh, and Violet?” he said, hand on the doorknob. “If you ask me again, I will bite you, and I will make it hurt… but only if it’s for the right reasons.” He would give her whatever she needed, even if it cost him. “And if it’s not?” she asked quietly. “Then I’ll make it feel good.”
she placed the blade against his neck, and he placed his fangs on her vein.
The most shocking thing about this female wasn’t that she was insane, but that half the time she seemed completely in control of her mind. That she was evil with intent.
She had power over her choices. She was a smart woman. A goddamned smart, mother fucking woman. And she’d said no.
