I can call myself a fag all day, but having someone else do it,
I swear this author says shit like this because he thinks it’s cool to be offensive. Reclaiming slurs is valid, but he has never said that’s what he was doing. It’s not cool- it’s jarring and triggering.
Do people really call themselves f*gs these days? Black people don’t hard R themselves.

pop culture references are fun and relatable but it dates the hell out of a book. the book literally just came out and this is dated asf. IT came out 5 years ago
