Happy Hour

Nicolas said the neighbourhood is fine, but for girls there are certain pockets to avoid. And I said, “Like all neighbourhoods.”

I didn’t care because usually if I have a drink in my hand, I’m at peace.

We would’ve gone home, but putting a cap on an evening of adventure can be tough. It takes practice to have restraint, and we are not yet at an age to try it out.

I suppose we should be taking the subway, but sometimes when it’s late at night, a girl turns into a moving target.
