“Don’t pretend you didn’t like it. You miss it, don’t you, little masochist?”
“Were you thinking of me while he fucked you?” he demands, his eyes glinting dangerously. “Tell me, little masochist. I can keep a secret.”
“You’re being a fucking fool,” he spits. “Fucking reckless! If you’d only listened to me … you deserve everything bad that happens to you, you know that? Everything!”
“It would’ve mattered because you belong to me.” Then, leaning back, he rakes his gaze over me again and growls, “Fuck, I hate everything about you.”
“Mallory, babe, I’m pulling for you kids. I really am,” he declares, surprising me. “Rosalind’s about as interesting as a noodle and Laurel’s annoying as fuck. You’re the most entertaining girl Saint’s ever messed around with, and because of that, I’ll tell you where he is.”
“Fuck his brains out so he stops being such a pain in the ass!”
“Scream for me, and I’ll tell you,” he growls, his finger dipping between my legs. I gasp at the shot of pleasure that pulses through me. “I don’t want to play your games, Saint.”
“Fuck you, Saint,” I breathe. His grin widens. “As you wish.”
“Scream for me,” he says again. “Scream my name when you come and remind yourself who you belong to. Who owns you, little masochist?”
“Say it, Mallory. Out loud. Who owns you? Who will always own you, no matter where you go?”
“You don’t get to come until you do what I say. Be my good girl and tell me who you belong to.”
“You, Saint,” I growl, glaring at him. “You own me, fucker. Now let me come!” “Good girl,” he smirks
“Fuck, I missed the way you taste.”
“I don’t know what happened to Jon Eric, but I hope it was terrible. And I hope what happens to Porter is worse.”
“Tell me to get out again,” he growls softly against my lips. “Tell me, and I’ll go. I’ll never touch you again. All you have to do is push me away, right now, in this moment. It’ll end here, I swear to God.”
“That’s my little masochist,” he growls, spanking me again. “No one else gets to see you like this, do you understand?”
“I’m the only one,” he murmurs. “You belong to me, Mallory. Only me. I’m going to fuck Porter’s memory right out of you, so the only person you ever think of is me. Got it?”
“I’ll only think of you,” I whimper. I’m so close now that I’ll say almost anything so that he’ll let me come. “That’s my good, obedient girl.”
“You’re not going to win this game, Mallory,” he murmurs. “I make the rules, and I can change them whenever I want to. All you can do is what I want you to do.”
“I just can’t seem to help myself,” he finally bites out, as if the words were being yanked from him against his will. His hand comes up to cup my chin as his mouth descends toward mine. “When it comes to you and these situations I’ve helped create, I find myself constantly pulled back in whenever I try to ignore you.”
“I want you, Mallory. Naked and wet, moaning my name as you come around my cock.”
“I won’t hurt you,” he softly promises. “Not again.”
“I’m going to fuck you so long, so slow, you’ll forget all about him and anyone else you’ve ever imagined being here.” He cups me between my legs with his free hand.
“You’re just… You don’t know how sexy you are, do you?”
“I’m not going to pretend to understand what exists between you and Saint, but it’s obvious that, whatever it is, it’s strong. Neither of you seem like you can fight it.”
“You ever touch her again, I’ll fucking kill you,” Saint barks.
“I didn’t say I don’t give a fuck about you. I don’t give a fuck about any of this bullshit surrounding you. None of that matters. You’re just Mallory to me. I care what happens to you, and that’s why I need you to leave this place.”
“You remember what you asked me on the beach?” he murmurs, and I still. “Whether I wanted you to leave?” “Yeah,” I whisper. “I don’t,” he growls. “I don’t want you gone. I just want to make sure he can’t touch you, do you fucking understand?”
“Oh, I disagree.” He pushes me so I fall back on his mattress, then he crawls up over me to pin my arms above my head. “Because I really do own you now, little masochist.”
“Don’t think of that fucker,” he said savagely. “He’s taken up enough space in your head. The only one you’re allowed to think of is me.”
“I’ll never get enough of the way you taste, Ellis,” he said, licking his lips. Bending over me, he pressed his hands into the mattress on either side of my head. “Even if I am starting to question if I’ll be next on your world murder tour.”
“Watch your mouth, Ellis, or I’ll stuff my cock between your lips to shut you up.” A breath rushes from my nostrils. “I’ll say whatever the hell I want because you’re a piece of shit.” The insult doesn’t seem to faze him one bit. “And you’re a bitch, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to fuck you senseless.”
“Well, I wasn’t expecting that reaction,” he says with a wicked grin. “Missed me, baby?”
“Holy shit, what are you doing here?” I turn at the familiar, excited voice and give a shirtless Gabe an exasperated grin. “Can’t a girl just kick back and have a little fun without the judgment?” I tease. He chuckles, his long legs eating the distance between us. “Sure, a regular girl can, but you’re not a regular girl, are you? You’re Mallory-Fucking-Ellis, slayer of dong and owner of bitches.”
“I see. You’re pissy because I didn’t give you enough attention.” He pushes through the door, forcing me backwards. “Don’t worry, baby. I’ll remedy that.”
“You pull this shit again, I’ll take you over my knee and spank you until your ass is red, got it?”
“I’m not ignoring you, beautiful. I’m just ignoring your question. Trust me. It’s for the best.”
“It’s scary when you surprise me,” he eventually says on a low drawl.
“I should take you over my knee and whip your tight little ass to get rid of that attitude of yours.”
“I like seeing you jealous every now and then. Even if it is over some fantasy bitch with big tits.”
“It’s because I fucking love you, okay?” he roars back. “I want to know because I actually give a fuck. I want to keep you safe, but I can’t if I don’t actually know what the hell is going on.”
“I’m hungry, little masochist,” I say, and her blue eyes gleam. “You always are,” she says with a grin. “But first … pancakes.”
