I would disagree with her assessment. If anything, a man who has spent time in therapy, working through his known issues has to be better off than someone stuffing them down and ignoring them. But knowing all those things has changed how I see so much about Rafe. He has layers because he’s complex. He’s a survivor. Whoever I thought Rafe was, I was wrong. I’m continually surprised, and I find that I want to know him more.
