Pattern and Decoration artists were interested in all kinds of craft (tilework, calligraphy, fabric printing, and more) from all over the world. But if there was one technique that really came to the fore at this time, it was quilting. The interest that had arisen during the civil rights campaign broadened into a wider embrace.
