Like I said, connecting back to yourself isn’t just about revisiting an activity you used to love. It’s not about break-dancing per se, or riding a motorcycle, or picking up a guitar. It’s about reconnecting with the spirit of the person you used to be when you liked yourself.
Not bashing yourself every time you “fuck up.” Practicing self-compassion and forgiveness, which, by the way, is a daily choice.
You’ll no longer believe that bad things happen because you’re unlucky or defective. You’ll understand that this thought is distorted and a reaction to false beliefs about yourself. Once you see the process, you can choose to fix it by stopping it.
Just Googling shit on the internet isn’t as powerful as reading or listening to books. Books are more than information. They have stories, voice, and perspective. They are personal and will leave a much greater imprint than Google ever will.
Thread books, audio or print, into your daily life. Books make you better. I promise.
Friendships are an important part of building a strong sense of self and confidence.

Add new thoughts to your mental conveyer belt.
positive. Instead of thoughts that lead to anxiety and panic, think thoughts that produce feelings of gratitude and joy. Play a different movie.
