Never lose your joy as the leader towards renewal. It takes a holy anointed confidence that the Lord wants to use you in the revitalization of a church. Live in it and walk worthy of it. I have never seen a pastor who was a worrier be successful in renewal. I have never seen a pastor who was a naysayer be successful in renewal. I have never seen a pastor who is an eternal pessimist be successful in church revitalization and renewal. It requires a positive church revitalizer to lead the effort toward revitalization. Positive church revitalization leaders have the ability to unite the team. They love the entire church and not just the ones that think he is awesome. They have the ability to call out the greatness that is within the congregation. Church revitalizers must lead with enthusiasm. Through adversity, obstacles and challenges joyous and hopeful church revitalizers consistently rally their revitalization team with a shared vision and a greater purpose.
