In his book, Reclaiming Glory: Revitalizing Dying Churches, Mark Clifton makes a strong case for the importance of discipling young men as a part of revitalizing a church. He states that he has yet to find a dying or declining church that has a lot of young men who are actively involved in the church. He goes on to say revitalizing pastors need to be seeking young men to disciple and pour into their lives.
