Turning on my sibling I ask, “Why did you want me to go to the nursing home so early?” He looks sheepishly down at his own feet, “I told you, parking.” “Bullshit. There were about four cars in the parking lot. You wanted me to run into a blast from my past, didn’t you?” His face blazes red knowing I’ve caught him, “Did you?” I can’t even look at him. This is going to have to wait or I might kill him, “Do you still have your four-wheelers?” He nods. “Can I take them out for a while?” “You only need one four-wheeler for one person.” “One for me and one for Colby since I clearly can’t leave him alone here with you.” “I’m sorry, my vehicles won’t run for narcissistic assholes.”
