The different measurement scales can be confusing.
In other words let me throw some science at you so you think I know what I am talking about but don’t worry if you don’t understand (in fact great!) I won’t make you think about it much. This is a standard writing technique used to confuse the reader and make the author seem more credible and knowledgeable so if something doesn’t make sense or add up they will trust the author and not themselves. I don’t remember the exact scientific term for it but it plays on our cognitive biases
