Most of use don’t have access to n95 masks and the kn96 which have been made to replace them come from China. They did studies and many on the market at knockoffs that don’t work well at all. Almost everyone has access to cotton and when layered over 4 times and fit tightly to the face they work quite well according to some studies I have seen. Rather than say masks don’t work proper education on how they work is important. However that info is there and is mainstream. It’s a lazy argument the author is making here. If we educate about how to use them instead of throwing the baby or with the bath water is points would be moot.
