Local Woman Missing

I remember her first day of day care, that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach at leaving my child with a person I didn’t know well. It’s lessened over the years, but has never gone completely away. It was hard for me to go back to work after the kids were born, even though it was something I needed to do for myself.

I’ve seen a lot of women over the years. Single mothers. Women who’ve been raped, but want to keep their baby. Women who choose to abort a fetus based on the result of genetic testing. Being unbiased is important.

It’s been so long since Josh and I have had any alone time. With kids constantly at our heels, we can hardly have an adult conversation anymore.
