Local Woman Missing

A media circus. It makes me think of the reporters as clowns, as circus freaks, which they are.

It doesn’t matter that my baby is fictional, that my baby never did exist. That doesn’t make it okay. Because to another woman, this moment means everything.

My telltale heart is beating.
