I’m playing with fire here. And I just can’t stop myself.
She looks around the room. I can tell she’s considering her answer because lines appear between her eyes. I think they’re adorable
Our relationship pact expires tonight.
He never takes his eyes off me.
“I don’t have a Vermont like you. There is no Ana. I don’t have someone to take care of or a fucking farm that’s a family treasure like Hollywood. I have me. And that’s not as simple as it seems.”
I run my fingers through her hair. She’s so attractive. But the thing I see when I look at her isn’t her beauty at first. It’s the aura around her, the genuineness that exudes out of her pores. It’s her bright smile and the way she reaches for me like she wants to be as close as she can to me. Like now.
But it is the best. Because it’s with her.
“Happy New Year, baby.”
“You have so much love to give,”
Someone will be here for me.
