Through all of my years I have learned this: life can be beautiful if you make it beautiful.

They were scared. They were weak. And their weakness allowed them to be manipulated into hatred.

If you have the opportunity today, please go home and tell your mother how much you love her. Do this for your mother. And do it for your new friend, Eddie, who cannot tell it to his mother.

One good friend can be your entire world.

Once, I was a stateless refugee, knowing nothing but sorrow. Now I am Eddie Jaku, OAM!

They will hear of our pain and inherit our hope.

A field is empty, but if you put in the effort to grow something then you will have a garden.
