I spoke my mind and didn’t have a problem contradicting people when they were wrong. I was no wilting flower, yet I also wasn’t someone who’d be caught in an office tryst. I was a woman who held her own and people hated me for it.
Ophelia was my lifelong ride or die, but Eliza was my rock.
This world is not ready for a baby daddy as president.
Why did I hate that man so much? Maybe I felt like he stole my life and just expected me to want to give it to him.
“So, you’re saying I’m loved as much as dark chocolate or a cosmopolitan, but I have a ways to go before you’re willing to watch me drown in freezing cold waters after our ship sinks?”
