There are times when you’ve got to do something, even if you have no idea whether you’ll succeed or get the shit pounded out of you, because the thing you have to do simply has to be done, and you can do no other.

try and imagine a war between two sides: One’s unimaginably stronger, and the other can’t die. The strong one always wins, but he can never win. The weak one keeps getting shredded, but can’t be defeated, not so long as he resists. Opposes, rather. There’s got to be an opposition, even if it never wins a battle.
