Following his instincts, he grabbed a spoon and took a sip of the stew. Not bad at all, but it tasted a bit funny. Even though it looked to be beef, the texture and flavor were more akin to pork.
Noooooo *gag* (Edit: I don't think Oliver ever put that together that the guy was eating people and the stew he ate was human stew. He probably only assumed he was a serial killer due to the parts in the fridge and the body in the basement. Better he never knew.
