I see Mount Delectable as a symbol of all the ways to be “better” that we learn from our cultural context. For most people, this involves money: piles and piles of money. This basic golden substrate may be topped with layers of dazzling physical beauty, intellectual brilliance, artistic perfection, fairy-tale romance, or all of the above. “That! That!
