Time happens faster than we realize. In the 500 years since the migration from Europe to this side of the planet, the entire ecosystem has completely changed… for the worst. The kings and monarchs of the Europe did not have the foresight to realize that cutting down the forests, killing the fish in the rivers and overfishing the shores of the Atlantic would result in the environmental mess we have today.
