Since when has he ever had a french accent in this book so far
“There’s more than one way to make a child.” Children were not something I’d thought about before.
She is 30 something and she has never once thoughf about children? And apparently never had a relationship before??? When she thinks of his wife, she has no history of her own in mind?? This character is sheltered, naive optimistic to the point of delusion, making excuses for red flag, abuse, and MURDER all the time...

When you factored in vampire possessiveness and my own ignorance about what was happening, it seemed an ideal time for a moment of reflection.
