The Adamic Covenant taught us that man’s original purpose was to be co-rulers under God; stewards with Him of the world God created for His glory. We as human stewards needed only to listen and obey. This Covenant, when followed, would ensure that holiness was preserved in the domain that God shared with us and that abominations like the Nephilim could never happen.
