Voices are formed in the wilderness. Voices never “graduate” from the wilderness. Voices become voices through silence and solitude, and it’s this quality of messenger and message that penetrates the noise of a chaotic culture in the world and in the Church. One of the reasons I’ve written this book is to see the restoration of voices in the Church.
