Danger wrapped in silk—that’s what she wanted. Did that kind of man even exist?
“What did I do to deserve you, Chuck?” Charley grinned, turning to press a kiss to Sasha’s cheek. You showed up, she thought. And you stayed.
“People are drawn to money like flies on shit,” Veronica said. “Rich flies. On solid gold shit. But still, I stand by the metaphor.”

“Oh, for fuck’s sake.” Aiden rolled his eyes. “You lot have been repressing your emotions since you were humans bickering at the dinner table. Why stop a good thing now?”
“This car is unbelievable,” she said. “So responsive. I feel like I could drive it with my eyes closed.” “I’d really prefer you didn’t.”
