When you look at the restrictions about not mixing fabrics for clothing, you find that the priests’ garments and the fabrics used in the tabernacle of that time (the tabernacle was the place of worship prior to the temple) were made of wool and linen—two different types of material. Only priests could wear this type of blended fabric for clothing.
