Hard to say until we know what the idea really is: by now, we should know to ask, ‘What do you mean by “unskilled”?’ The answer, on closer inspection, is that you’re unskilled if you don’t have a job offer on a salary of at least £35,000 – a level that would rule out the majority of nurses, primary school teachers, technicians, paralegals and chemists.
