The man shook his head. “I belong to a special division that doesn’t have IDs. I’m known as Agent 11, or A-Eleven.” Sam chuckled. “Agent 11? Seriously? Are you going to tell me there’s Agent 007 too?” The look Agent 11 gave him was definitely long-suffering. “No, James Bond and Double-ohs aren’t real. But MI6 is. And some of us do have codenames.” “So what’s your name, then? I feel silly calling you Agent 11 in my head.” “Classified.” Sam grinned. “Your name is Classified? Very unusual.”
“You know what happens to curious cats, Red?”
After a few minutes, he felt a firm, muscular body press against his back. A bearded cheek nuzzled against his ear before Agent 11 said quietly over the sound of water, “Two bugs in the cabin, one in the bathroom. Possibly a hidden camera on the wardrobe, but can’t verify yet without arousing suspicion.” Sam sucked a breath in. “Why are there bugs? We were told it would be highly unlikely.” He felt Dominic sigh against his ear. “Brylsko’s background checks were more thorough than Amanda expected. My cover was blown because I have a pretty public Dominic Bommer cover back in England. I was

“Why?” Sam repeated incredulously, sitting up. Was he serious? “I don’t even know your real name! How am I supposed to believe anything you say when I don’t know a single real thing about you? I’ve never met a person who was such a chameleon!” All anger seemed to fade from Dominic’s body. He sighed, running a hand over his face. “My real name is Dominic.” Sam stared at him, confused. “What?” Dominic walked over and sat next to him. “It’s kind of a long story.” Sam eyed his profile. “I have time,” he said softly, still trying to wrap his mind around the fact that Dominic was actually Dominic.
“Order us pizza, Nick!” Sam yelled. “With pepperoni, bacon, and sausage.” “Do you want me to start a bubble bath for you too?” Dominic called out. “Great idea!” Sam said, grinning when he heard Dominic laugh and call him a lazy baby.
“Over the past few weeks, I got a bit too attached to you. I feel like you’re mine. Just mine.” His lips twisted. “And I guess I don’t like someone else touching what’s mine.”
“You know what I like about kissing you?” Dominic said, pressing their foreheads together. “I like how responsive you are. You kiss me like—like you belong to me—like you’re mine, like your mouth is mine.” He gave Sam another short, hard kiss. “It’s bloody addictive.”
Normally, Dominic would laugh at his cheeky response, but at the moment, laughing was the last thing on his mind. “Did you like it?” “Um,” Sammy said. “It was good, I guess.” “As good as when I kiss you?” What the fuck are you doing? a voice growled at the back of his mind, but Dominic was beyond being reasonable. He wanted to hear Sammy—his Sammy, dammit—confirm that he was his, Dominic’s, and no one else’s.
He would wonder how he had managed to miss Luke or his car, but he was well aware that he had something akin to tunnel vision when it came to Sammy.
Luke pursed his lips, looking at Roman suspiciously. “I’m not leaving you alone with Sam.” Roman raised his eyebrows. “You have no reason to be jealous. I don’t actually have a kidnapping kink.” Luke snorted. “You’re hilarious.” He crossed his arms and sat down in the other chair. “I’m not moving. You can fetch Kolya yourself. Or call him.”
They were a striking couple: two tall, well-dressed handsome men, recently married and very obviously in love. The older one, Dominic, was probably in his thirties. He was well mannered but a little reserved. Truth be told, there was something about his eyes that made Sophie wonder if he really was the businessman he had claimed to be.
When she asked them how they met, the strangest thing happened. “He kidnapped me,” Sam said. “We met on a cruise,” Dominic corrected him. “A very boring cruise.” “He bought me at an auction,” Sam said with a smile that was delightfully filthy. Sophie blushed. She might be old, but she wasn’t dead. Dominic gave his husband a long-suffering look and said, “Please ignore him, Sophie. He has a vivid imagination.”
