Vlad’s eyes flicked to his mouth again, making Luke’s blood run cold. At last, the blond shook his head. “I have orders not to talk to you,” he said and looked back at his men. “Zaprite malchishku v seroi komnate.”
“Blya, eto mne chto li nado,” Roman said, his tone irritated, before he pulled Luke up into a sitting position and undressed him quickly. Luke didn’t open his eyes, only vaguely aware of being forced into something long and soft. It smelled good. He was all but shoved face down on the bed, but then a gentle hand stroked his hair. “Sleep.” “Uh huh,” Luke muttered before hugging his pillow and falling into a deep, untroubled sleep.
I guess I’ve always just wanted to be enough.” But never was. I wish I could find someone who would love me the way I am and wouldn’t want to change me.
His dark eyes were wide and beautiful, and his lips looked soft and very pink. It was irritating. Everything about the boy irritated him: the way he looked, the way he talked, the way he fucking breathed.
Roman grabbed his head and kissed him, pouring his anger into the greedy kiss.
“Hochu yobnut tebya, kudryashka,” Roman said in Russian, his voice still hoarse from sleep. “Hochu trahnut tebya bez rezinki.”
With Roman, he felt cared for, like a pet that wanted to be cherished by his owner. By his daddy. By his Dom.
“I can’t give you what you want, either,” Roman said testily. “No,” Luke agreed. “But you can give me what I need.” Roman sucked in a breath. “I’m not sorting out your father’s mess for a pair of dimples and a pretty mouth.” His tone was harsh, but Luke wasn’t fooled. Closing his eyes, he whispered, nothing but raw honesty in his voice, “I’m scared. I need you to make it better. Make it better.” Roman swore in Russian and hung up.
When his head cleared a little, Roman found that he had the boy cradled against his chest, his fingers carding through the moist curls. Luke was nuzzling into his collarbone, all but purring. He really was such a kitten.
Did the boy truly realize there was no going back for him? Because Roman would never let him go.
