The best things that happened to her were things that she jumped into with both feet. Things that scared the shit out of her but she dove in anyway. And Brody Pace fit the bill.

“You can’t stab me with all these witnesses.” “Wrong.” She turned to fully-face him. “I can’t get away with stabbing you with all these witnesses.”
