God, through a book, should daily inspire in us the sort of gratitude and praise we see in Psalm 19. God’s word revives the soul and makes wise the simple (v. 7); it rejoices the heart and enlightens the eyes (v. 8); it is more desirable than gold and sweeter than honey (v. 10).
