But the political, social and economic problems caused by mass migration are so severe, that the only viable alternative would be to take capital and management to the workers in these poor countries, rather than having them migrate to the rich countries. We shall argue that while such a new direction for globalisation is possible, we nevertheless think it somewhat unlikely.
