We might be kinder to ourselves in our minds about the things we did long ago, but saying them out loud to an audience

exposes you.

When someone plants a seed in our brain, it’s astonishing how well we keep it watered, all by ourselves.

“There couldn’t be a more perfect place to store one’s memories but the space you move through every day.”

So often, we tend to stay in our own little spaces and never look around to see what is going on with the rest of humanity.
