Most savorers got that way over time, by training themselves to focus on drinking in the positives. “It’s similar to musical talent,” he tells me. “Sure, some people naturally have a good ear, but everyone who plays an instrument has to practice. Savoring is the same. You have to work at it. And then you can get better at it.”
