First Date

Just when everything seems to be going so well, there it is, the ever-present threat of losing everything.

Along with all the happiness, the anticipation, the warm feeling permanently flooding your veins – this is what love does to a person. It makes you crazy, your judgement becomes clouded and irrational.

I’m not living in a rom com after all. This is real life. And real life hurts.

I think about how home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling.

I was in love, and love is blind. I saw nothing until it was too late.
