They recorded the entire eleven-track album, plus three bonus tracks, in three days. With only enough money to afford a single day in the mixing room, Newport mixed the album in one straight twenty-four-hour block without a break. Bixler-Zavala would later admit in a fanzine interview that while he liked the record, the band didn’t get to execute “maybe 30 percent” of the ideas they had planned.
