Tell me why you’re crying, tell me why you decide to stay where you’re not appreciated. Don’t you remember what it felt like to be happy on your own, free from heartache? Free from him and his bullshit? Tell me why you’ve decided to settle, struggling to survive the impact of his disrespect and disregard for your emotional well-being. Are you crying because you wish to hold on longer, or is it that you’re ready to let go but you’re afraid?

He knew he wasn’t shit when he approached you. He knowingly wasted your time. He knew damn well that he was incapable of fully comprehending your worth, and even though that shit hurt you, even though your heart has been aching, soul weary, restless, unable to sleep, I hope you still remember what you’re worth, and I hope you take all the energy and love and time that you’ve invested in him and give it entirely to yourself. I hope this reaches you, the one who needs this the most.
