But he has come to regard the Law as another matter altogether—not antithetical to the promises but time-limited and, most of all, unable to deliver the blessings that were promised. Indeed, what he brings out here is that, even under the Law, humanity remains at an impasse—under a curse, under sin, and enslaved.
