“I’m not asking permission, just respecting you enough to tell you what I’m doing.”
This well-written science fiction story explores our own future that will include adapting to ever more intelligent robots that perform every function imaginable. Knowing that the first chapter of A.B.I.L. chronologically fits near the end of the book made me eager to find out the progression of events. Harrington rewards the reader with page-turning excitement that is increasingly more thrilling as one passes the seemingly slow start in the first 25% of the book. Even for those who don't typically enjoy sci-fi, the relationship exploring and building make for a unique romance.
