what reason did I have to fear your heart what reason did I have to build barriers to your love
a song erupted from the depths of the sea it was love signaling me to abandon the safety of the shore and draw near to its glorious splendor sinking deep in total surrender my soul ached for its call desperate for the feeling of home but there I remained my feet buried in the sand
Nothing separates you from the love of God. Not your flaws, sins, mistakes. God pardons your shortcomings because He has already paid the price Stop hiding from His unconditional love. Stop building walls between yourself and grace. He already deemed you worthy of His love. Let go. Be loved.
He says: “let me uproot every stone and every bitter seed sprouting in the soil of your soul.”
close your eyes and let go of your world forget what was and what will be and run right into His heavenly arms
a thousand seas stood between us creating an unbearable distance for your affection to cross still, you send envoys of love to my undeserving heart unafraid of the trek it takes to reach me
You’re looking for peace, restoration, and love in all the wrong places. Fix your eyes on Jesus. In Him, you’re already loved. In Him, you’re already redeemed. In Him, you are made whole.
how could you love me when all I have to give are half-hearted promises
you did not take another second to calculate my worth you simply met me in the middle loving me at my worst
He says: “my love is not in short supply.”
If we would just hold on to His hand and stay by His side, we wouldn’t have to reach for Him. We wouldn’t have to grope around in the darkness looking for His hand. If we would dwell in His presence, we wouldn’t need to search for Him. Hold on to His hand. Don’t let go.
your gentle knock on the door of my heart was music to my ears
true love embraced me simple + slow a sunrise that warmed my soul and gave me hope for tomorrow
fear has no place here in your presence fear has no place here in your presence fear has no place here in your presence fear has no place here in your presence
forgetting all my troubles casting aside all my fears I lean into your everlasting love and find wholeness
He loved you from the beginning. Long ago, He looked into the future and saw you. He saw your shortcomings and sin and called you worthy of His time. He knew exactly who you’d become and still blessed you with His love. He’s poured it out upon you without restraint. His love for you is not a mistake.
you restore my peace and lay my weary mind to rest
the greatest love is the one that stays. it endures the fire, the wind, and the waves.
He doesn’t take His love back in regret.
He says: “I am the voice shouting into the darkness calling my children to come home.”
may the wayward souls hear your honey voice and hunger for a taste
sing a new song, a song of gladness. tell the world of the treasure you found, the treasure of my presence.”
