There’s comfort in knowing you can be on your way to somewhere good even if you’re not always in control of it all.
It’s important to hold on to your good days; they keep you sane in the face of bad ones.
The whole adage of “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” is fallacious baloney.
Sometimes when we see the wasps in our lives, we have this tendency to ignore them—especially when no one else around us seems bothered. It’s always easier to disregard things rather than deal with them. But I think there’s value in knowing when to call it, in knowing when to get up and leave, in knowing when we’re done—even if it means having to walk out into the unknown to start all over again. We can never really be sure of what will be waiting for us on the other side, but it’s gotta beat sitting there with a mouthful of wasps, pretending everything is okay.
Maybe feeling lost is just the prerequisite of adventure—the first chapter of any good story.
