Most of the people had packed into one of the three small temples. The Shenk family had never been overly religious and Otto considered most of it superstitious nonsense. His father ostensibly prayed to Branik, the King of Swords, but the archangel was largely honored on his two holy days and ignored the rest of the time, barring an upcoming battle.
