words would never be lost.
Biff Mitchell
This book was both compelling and disturbing. I honestly didn't like any of the characters but their stories were interesting enough to hold my attention and carry me through the story. The story itself, makes sense in bringing a man's search of his missing daughter into the world of her kidnappers 17 years later in a way that draws the father into a continuation of the horror. Palahniuk has a talent for enthralling his readers with the most unlikable of characters.
